Abuja- Kaduna Train Increases To Three Daily Trips
The Nigerian Railway Corporation (NRC) has announced that the Abuja–Kaduna Train Service will begin operating three trips daily starting tomorrow.
The update means passengers traveling between Abuja and Kaduna will now have more departure options as the railway service expands its schedule.
According to the NRC, the additional trips are part of efforts to improve mobility and meet the growing demand for rail transport on the busy route.
The Abuja–Kaduna rail corridor remains one of Nigeria’s most used train lines, connecting the Federal Capital Territory with Kaduna State and serving thousands of passengers every week.
Officials say the increased frequency will reduce waiting time for travellers and make the service more convenient for commuters, business travellers, and other passengers who rely on the train for safer intercity travel.
Rail authorities added that the move aligns with broader plans to strengthen rail transportation and improve passenger experience across the country’s rail network.
