APC Turnout Shows Faith In Democracy – Kano Deputy Gov
The Deputy Governor of Kano State, Murtala Garo, has said the large turnout at the All Progressives Congress presidential primary reflects growing confidence in Nigeria’s democratic system.
He made the remarks after taking part in the exercise held in Kano on Saturday.
According to a statement by his media aide, Garo praised party members for what he described as a peaceful and united process.
He noted that the level of participation showed strong interest in the direction of national leadership.
Garo added that people from different backgrounds came together during the primary, describing it as a shared expression of support for progress and national unity.
He said the exercise demonstrated a collective belief in the political process.
He also expressed support for President Bola Tinubu, saying the outcome of the primary had strengthened public confidence.
He urged Nigerians, especially young people, to remain peaceful and committed to democratic values.
