The Confederation of African Football, in partnership with the AFCON Morocco 2025 Local Organising Committee, has confirmed that football fans travelling for next year’s tournament will be eligible to obtain electronic visas at no cost.
The initiative applies to supporters from countries that usually need a visa to gain entry into Morocco.
In an official statement, CAF revealed that electronic visas processed through the YALLA application will now be free for all visitors attending the competition, scheduled to be held from 21 December 2025 to 18 January 2026.
The organisation noted that the decision was introduced in response to increasing global interest in the event, with more international supporters already securing match tickets.
CAF explained that visitors require two documents to stay in Morocco and gain access to stadiums during the tournament: a Fan ID and an electronic visa. Both documents can be obtained directly through the YALLA app.
According to the announcement, the Fan ID is compulsory for entry into match venues and designated Fan Areas. Supporters can complete both the Fan ID application and e-visa request within the same platform, making the process faster and more convenient for international and local fans.
To apply, fans are encouraged to download the YALLA app from Google Play or the App Store, or visit the official YALLA website to complete the Fan ID form and, where necessary, submit an e-visa application.
Once approval is granted, supporters can proceed to purchase match tickets via the CAF ticketing platform.
CAF added that the new measures aim to enhance safety, efficiency, and overall fan experience for the tournament, which will be hosted across nine stadiums in six cities.
With Morocco hosting the competition for the first time since 1988, excitement continues to build ahead of Africa’s biggest football spectacle, featuring 24 participating national teams.
