Flavour is trending because Ijele 1 finished 3rd on the Billboard Staff All Time AfroBeat ranking, leaving 9ice at a distant 12th place.

So, the debate for who is bigger between Mr. Gongo Aso and Ijele was revisited.

Flavours fans argued that, this Billboard listing has settled the debate. Since 9ice didn’t make to top 10. And Flavour’s Ashawo was ranked 3rd, only behind African Queen and Wizkid’s Ojuelegba.

As expected the debate went tribal, as some insisted that, 9ice is only popular in SW, Nigeria. While Flavour is a global brand.

Based on numbers, Flavour is miles ahead. However both a legends.
