Controversial singer Portable has accused his father, Me Olalomi, of exploiting him and claiming ownership of his belongings in a heated social media post.
The street-hop star alleged that his father had taken his clothes, shoes, and other personal items while attempting to profit from his fame. Portable even drew a parallel to the late singer Mohbad, suggesting his father was targeting his property in a similar way.
He questioned his father’s presence in his life, insisting there was no support during his struggles. Portable claimed his father never stood by him during police issues, did not contribute to his education, and refused to fund his desire to learn tailoring.
In a lengthy post, he wrote: “Anytime I have a police case, my Dad will never show up for me. What is your importance in my life? You didn’t send me to school. You are just like Baba Mohbad; you are always wearing my shoes and clothes. You can never inherit me. I will not allow you to do to me what they did to Mohbad. When I wanted to build a house, and I told him to handle it, he was always cheating me. A block of N300,000, he will call it N900,000. Leave me alone and let me live my life. You scammed me.”
