Davido has refuted claims that he owes an event planner, describing the allegations as “crazy.”

The controversy began after reports claimed that Funke Bucknor-Obruthe, a prominent event planner, had publicly demanded $50,000 from the singer for services provided at his wedding.

Bucknor-Obruthe quickly denied the reports, saying the quotes attributed to her were fake and misleading. On Instagram, she clarified:

“This is my official Instagram handle. I’m seeing a false narrative flying around about Davido that I purportedly posted. All posts online, on Twitter, TikTok, Instagram are totally false and misleading.”

Reacting to the saga on X, Davido dismissed the rumors, writing: “Crazy atp (at this point).”
