Several people have reportedly been killed in Enugu State after being hit by a Dangote truck on Wednesday.

According to NaijaNews, eyewitnesses confirmed the tragic incident to Parallel Fact News, though the exact number of casualties and the specific location have yet to be disclosed. Survivors are said to be receiving treatment at nearby medical facilities.

This comes just weeks after a Dangote truck fatally struck Ruth Otabor, the sister of Big Brother Naija winner Phyna, in Edo State. In April 2024, another Dangote truck collided with a Toyota Hiace bus on the Okene–Lokoja highway, claiming 19 lives.

The recurring nature of such accidents involving Dangote trucks has sparked widespread outrage among Nigerians.
