Billionaire businessman Femi Otedola jokingly told his daughter Temi at her wedding to singer Oluwatosin Ajibade, known as Mr Eazi, in Iceland that her husband is now her boss.

In a video from the August 8 ceremony at Hallgrímskirkja Church in Reykjavík, Otedola said to Temi, “He’s your husband and he’s your boss. There’s no more dad. Don’t call me.”

The event was attended by family and friends, including Temi’s mother Nana Otedola, her sister Florence “DJ Cuppy” Otedola, and businessman Aliko Dangote.

Otedola recalled first meeting Mr Eazi in 2017 and said he had predicted then that the singer would one day marry his daughter. He also spoke about the challenges of planning the wedding, including their earlier engagement in Dubai and a storm that damaged their tent a week before the Iceland ceremony.

He credited his wife Nana for raising their children while he focused on business and urged Temi to be committed to her marriage, advising the couple to resolve issues privately.

Temi and Mr Eazi had their civil wedding in Monaco on May 9, followed by a traditional Yoruba ceremony in Dubai in July. The couple got engaged in April 2022, four years after meeting at an event organized by DJ Cuppy.
