Kebbi State Governor Nasir Idris has approved the immediate suspension of the Commissioner for Health, Yanusa Musa Isma'il.

The governor’s decision followed his directive for the commissioner to provide a satisfactory explanation over allegations of negligence of duty and disregard for his official responsibilities.

By the directive, the commissioner remains suspended from office until further notice.

Governor Idris reiterated his administration’s commitment to accountability, discipline, and effective service delivery, stressing that public officials must justify the trust placed in them.
