Ousmane Dembélé has claimed the 2025 Ballon d’Or, marking a defining moment in his football career.

The Paris Saint-Germain star earned the accolade after an exceptional 2024–25 season, scoring 35 goals and registering 16 assists across all competitions. His standout performances played a key role in PSG winning their first UEFA Champions League title, as well as domestic trophies including Ligue 1, the Coupe de France, Trophée des Champions, and the UEFA Super Cup.

The award was presented at the 69th Ballon d’Or ceremony on September 22, 2025, at the Théâtre du Châtelet in Paris, with Barcelona’s Lamine Yamal finishing as the runner-up.

At 28 years old, Dembélé joins an elite group of French footballers to have won the Ballon d’Or, following in the footsteps of legends like Michel Platini, Zinedine Zidane, and Karim Benzema.

The victory underscores Dembélé’s skill, consistency, and evolution as one of the brightest talents in world football.
