Nigerian singer Kizz Daniel has reportedly been ordered by a German court to pay $200,000 after allegedly failing to perform at a scheduled event.
The “Buga” star was reportedly booked for the show for $100,000, receiving half of the payment in advance. He allegedly did not appear on the agreed date, and after failing to refund the advance as promised, the organizers pursued legal action.
According to reports, the court’s ruling also includes freezing Kizz Daniel’s personal and business bank accounts, with payment transaction screenshots presented as evidence.
Neither Kizz Daniel nor his management team has issued an official statement regarding the case.
This follows a similar incident in 2022, when the singer was briefly detained in Tanzania after missing the Summer Amplified concert despite being fully paid. While organizers accused him of breaching the contract, Kizz Daniel later clarified that he was only questioned by security personnel.
