Nigerian singer Rudeboy, also known as Paul Okoye, has threatened legal action after a female X user, ‘chubbiedivah,’ accused him of raping and coercing his domestic help. The allegation posted on X read:

"Didn't he also cheat on his wife with their housemaid? Raped/coerced their domestic help. she's the help, how could she say no? plus she was most likely wayyyy younger. When he was found out, he sent his wife and sister-in-law at the time out of the house. very yanmayanma nigga."

In response, Rudeboy shared a strongly worded warning on his social media channels, stating: "I hardly reply!!! But you see this one!!! @chubbiedivah if you like go private, leave X!! I will find you, I will use every necessary means, power, resources and money!!! You will face the law, I will use you to set an example!! (scapegoat)... your only way out is to leave the surface of this earth and relocate to space.. to everyone that brought my attention to her tweet ... thank you."

The X account that posted the claim was soon deactivated, and some online users reported finding other profiles allegedly linked to it. The accuser’s identity remains unverified, and the allegations have not been proven in court. Rudeboy’s management has yet to release an official statement regarding the incident.
