Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo has announced plans to pursue new legal action against fellow actress Lizzy Anjorin over alleged defamatory statements and threats aimed at her family.
This comes months after a Lagos High Court dismissed Ojo’s ₦1 billion defamation suit against Anjorin on procedural grounds, also ordering Ojo’s lawyer to pay ₦500,000 in legal costs.
Ojo revealed that her legal team is closely documenting all of Anjorin’s online comments, accusing her of issuing curses, insults, and even death threats, particularly targeting her grandson. She stressed that the attacks have moved beyond social media exchanges and now pose a serious risk to her family’s safety.
The feud, which has included petitions, lawsuits, and public confrontations, escalated further after Ojo linked a fire at her Lagos office and alleged surveillance threats to Anjorin’s conduct. She warned that Anjorin should be held accountable if any harm comes to her or her loved ones.
