Nigerian crypto entrepreneur and social media influencer Linus Williams, popularly known as Blord, has had his Instagram account taken down after a public clash with activist VeryDarkMan (VDM).
The account, which had amassed over 3 million followers, became inaccessible on October 15, 2025, prompting a wave of speculation and reactions across X (formerly Twitter) and TikTok. Fans expressed shock and curiosity over the sudden disappearance of the platform.
Reports indicate that the feud escalated when Blord shared a private video of VDM on his Instagram story, allegedly purchased for ₦500,000. The act reportedly violated Instagram’s policies on privacy and harassment, leading to either the suspension or removal of his account. While some sources suggest the deletion may be permanent, others believe it could be temporary, with the possibility of reinstatement.
The incident has sparked divided reactions online. VDM’s supporters, known as the “Ratels,” celebrated what they see as a victory, while Blord’s fans expressed disappointment and frustration, with some criticizing his actions.
It remains unclear whether Blord will regain access to his Instagram account. The episode serves as a reminder of the consequences of violating social media rules and the influence online communities can have on enforcing platform policies.
