Meghan Markle has been named the most disliked celebrity of 2025, topping the global list with 48,000 votes.

The ranking, compiled by Ranker.com, reflects viewers’ opinions of celebrities worldwide. Prince Harry also made the list, coming in third.

The couple has remained at the center of controversy since their exit from the UK, widely referred to as “Megxit.” Their high positions on the list have sparked widespread discussion online.

One user on X (formerly Twitter) wrote: “Meghan Markle is deemed the most disliked celebrity of the year AGAIN.” Another commented: “And people said she'd never be successful at anything! Congratulations Megs, we have faith that you'll continue to do well in this category.”

In second place was Sean “Diddy” Combs, who was recently sentenced to over four years in prison following a conviction on prostitution-related charges involving his two ex-girlfriends.

Other notable celebrities in the top ten included Oprah Winfrey at number four, Jada Pinkett Smith at five, and Ellen DeGeneres at six. Chrissy Teigen, Amber Heard, Bill Cosby, and Kris Jenner also featured among the most disliked stars.
