Controversial figure VeryDarkMan has accused a well-known comedian of attempting to funnel N700 million through his non-governmental organization. According to VeryDarkMan, the comedian suggested routing the cash into the NGO’s account so portions could be siphoned off and kickbacks distributed.

VeryDarkMan says he was offered a 10 percent share — roughly N70 million — but turned the offer down. He told the comedian he would rather buy property than let the money touch his NGO’s books.

VeryDarkMan also noted that his NGO has faced controversy before, though he did not provide further details in his statement. The allegation raises fresh questions about the comedian’s finances and the possible misuse of charitable accounts.
