Imisi, the winner of Big Brother Naija Season 10, has opened up about a deeply personal and painful experience she endured just before joining the reality show.

In an interview with TVC, she revealed that she lost her baby in April, less than a month before her BBNaija audition. She described this period as one of the most difficult moments of her life, saying the loss had a profound emotional impact.

The grief was so intense that she initially did not want to share it publicly. Imisi explained that this experience, combined with a recent breakup with her ex-boyfriend Hakeem, became a driving force behind her determination to succeed on the show.

“I lost my baby this year, April. It’s not even a month before I auditioned for Big Brother. The whole thing was so overwhelming. I do not want to talk about it,” she said.
