Chuks Nwoko, brother of embattled Ned Nwoko, has released a scathing video message addressing his sibling amid the controversy surrounding the arrest of Regina Daniels’ elder brother, Sammy West.
In the video, Chuks said he has been unable to reach Ned for years and criticized him for ignoring family ties. “As a brother, I have tried to tell you the truth through this same medium, Facebook. You are bringing so much disrepute to the Nwoko name,” he said. While Chuks insisted he was not ashamed of Ned, he noted that others in the family were embarrassed by his actions.
He warned Ned about the consequences of his behavior, citing Proverbs 14:12: “There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.” Chuks accused Ned of promoting behavior on social media that contradicts the values of respect, family, hard work, and education, and of betraying those who supported him throughout his life.
Chuks recounted how Ned, who came from humble beginnings, was sent to study in London with the support of family and well-wishers, only to create disruption abroad and fail to honor those who helped him. He also criticized Ned’s personal relationships, including his marriage to an Anambra woman, saying they reflected selfishness and a disregard for tradition.
Closing his message, Chuks urged Ned to repent and embrace a path of humility and accountability. “Today is a day of repentance for you. Your actions have harmed many people, and if you do not change your ways, you will continue to reap the consequences,” he said, stressing that while he does not wish evil on his brother, he must correct his wrongs.
