Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo has denied reports claiming she was arrested, speaking directly to her fans on TikTok live. The mother of two rebuked those spreading false information, warning them of the consequences.

“To all rumour mongers spreading fake news about me, it shall not be well with you. Who did they arrest? Your lies make my fans worried and calling to check on me. You keep using my name to get traffic and make money. You are heaping curses on yourself because I am a special being. Anyone wishing me harm, it will return to the sender,” she said.

The clarification comes after a fake “wanted” poster featuring her image circulated online, which the Nigeria Police Force confirmed is false. Iyabo Ojo urged her followers to disregard false reports and reassured them that she is safe.
