The convener of Omenana bu Uzor eziokwu na Ndu, Mathias Ezeaku has lamented over the death of his members due to a road accident that he claimed was caused by the contractor in charge of the road from Nkpor to Umuoji.

According to Mathias Ezeaku, the contractor divided a portion of the road without putting a caution tape on that part of the road to alert motorists about the gully created in that part of the road.

Unfortunately, the wife and daughter of one of his members went out at night to buy insecticide and a bus driver that didn't know there is a gully on the road entered the gully and crushed the mother and daughter who were standing beside the gully.

Mathias who made a video with his members stated that they want the executive governor of Anambra state, Governor Soludo to provide the contractor that is in charge of that project so they can prosecute him.

He warned that if Governor Soludo does not provide this contractor, him(Mathias Ezeaku) and his members will bring the corpse of the woman and her daughter to the government House.
