Gospel artist Akinade “Gaise Baba” Ibuoye and Nollywood actress Omoni Oboli emerged as the standout figures on the platform, according to Addy Awofisayo, YouTube’s Head of Music for Sub-Saharan Africa.

Gaise Baba led the music category with his viral worship hit, “No Turning Back II,” featuring Lawrence Oyor. Released in mid-May, the video quickly gained nationwide popularity, racking up over 41 million views in just six months and sparking widespread social media engagement.
