President Bola Tinubu has congratulated Chief Nyesom Wike, Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), as he celebrates his 58th birthday on December 13.
In his message, Tinubu expressed gratitude to God for blessing Wike with a life marked by purpose, courage, and dedication to service. He described the Minister and former Rivers State governor as a bold and results-driven leader who overcomes challenges to achieve his goals.
The President highlighted Wike’s significant contributions to the development of the FCT, including his recent efforts to resolve the 14-year delay in the construction of the Apo-Karshi road, a move that has accelerated infrastructure growth across the territory.
Tinubu praised Wike for his resilience, proactive approach, and commitment to excellence, noting that his consistent performance continues to benefit Nigerians.
“Nyesom Wike has been one of the shining stars in the cabinet, an exceptional performer, developing infrastructure in the Federal Capital as never seen before and proving that his moniker as ‘Mr Project’ is not limited to his home state of Rivers,” the President said.
He also commended Wike for championing the Renewed Hope Agenda, despite belonging to a different political party, and wished him continued success, strength, and fulfillment in his service to the FCT.
