Fuji Musician Wasiu Ayinde Marshall, popularly known as KWAM 1, has taken legal action over his bid to be considered for the vacant Awujale stool of Ijebuland.

KWAM 1 has approached the court following the Fusengbuwa Ruling House’s refusal to entertain his request to be included in the selection process for the traditional title.

In the suit, he is seeking to restrain the Governor of Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun, and other relevant parties from taking any steps toward installing the new Awujale until the court resolves his case.

The ex parte motion is scheduled to be heard on Monday, December 22, 2025.
