The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited has implemented another downward review of petrol prices, marking its third reduction within December 2025.

Findings at NNPCL filling stations in Abuja on Thursday showed that the pump price has been adjusted to N835 per litre from the previous N915, reflecting an N80 decrease.

The latest adjustment comes amid similar price cuts by other marketers operating in the Federal Capital Territory. Stations operated by MRS, BOVAS and AA Rano have also revised their prices, now selling petrol within the range of N739 to N865 per litre.

The series of reductions is linked to recent price slashes by Dangote Refinery and private depot owners, who lowered their ex-depot rates to between N699 and N800.

NNPCL and other filling stations had earlier reduced petrol prices twice this month, with adjustments recorded on December 4 and December 10, 2025.
