Veteran Yoruba actress Peju Ogunmola is in mourning following the tragic loss of her only son, Ayomikun, who passed away on Monday, September 1, 2025.

Ayomikun, affectionately known as Shina, was the only child of Peju Ogunmola and her husband, renowned comic actor Sunday Omobolanle, popularly known as Papi Luwe. Just months ago, he had completed his National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) program, a milestone that brought great pride to his family.
