Talent manager Mike Premium has debunked reports claiming that reality TV star Phyna demanded ₦1 billion from the Dangote Group following the tragic death of her sister, Ruth Otabor, who was hit by a Dangote truck.

In a series of statements, Mike Premium clarified that Phyna’s only urgent request was for her sister to be flown abroad for advanced medical treatment, not for any financial payout.

“Not once did we talk about ₦1 billion as a demand! False narrative! I handled this case quietly from the start, providing legal guidance because Phyna didn’t even know how to begin seeking justice for her sister,” he said.

He revealed that Ruth’s injuries clearly required treatment unavailable in Nigeria, and the first appeal was for an immediate medical evacuation to India. Instead of receiving swift action and compassion, the family faced delays and excuses until tragedy struck.

“Let it be known: This was not a natural death. Her life was forcefully taken—not by fate, but by human negligence and disregard. Dangote no get two head as long as I’m concerned; he’s no better than me or the person his truck killed. We are all equal before God. They should do the right thing,” Mike Premium stated.

He also issued a stern warning to blogs and online platforms spreading false claims about a ₦1 billion demand. “Any blog or page posting that lie, if you can’t provide credible evidence, I’ll make sure you spend some of your clickbait earnings in court. You’re trying to push a young woman into depression after she fought to save her sister, a sister whose school fees she’s been paying for years. This case? Phyna will get justice. Mark my words—no one can stop it.”

Screenshots shared by Mike Premium include Phyna’s own messages, showing her request: “But first I will demand an immediate arrangement to fly her to India. First let’s start with that so she can be attended to first.”

Mike Premium stressed that his efforts from the start have been driven purely by a desire for justice and compassion. “If any false narrative or lie is spoken or written about me again, I won’t let it slide. My intentions have always been clear—helping a grieving family, nothing more. Please, let Phyna and her family rest. They’re already carrying enough pain. Don’t add more with fabricated headlines. As for Dangote Group, justice must be served.”

The tragic incident has sparked outrage, with growing calls for accountability over recurring accidents involving Dangote trucks.
