Odera Mbadiwe, elder brother of former Big Brother Naija housemates, the Mbadiwe twins, has broken his silence following his recent disappearance.
Odera had gone missing for several days before being found. He revealed that his ordeal involved ingesting harmful substances, which left him incapacitated.
A young woman and a man reportedly found him in distress on the roadside and quickly alerted his family, ensuring his safety.
The businessman thanked Nigerians for their overwhelming concern and support during the uncertain period. Sharing updates on his Instagram page, Odera said he is steadily regaining strength and has drawn important lessons from the frightening experience.
“After missing for three days, I, Odera Mbadiwe of the Ozuomba Mbadiwe family, am deeply thankful to be safe and recovering. It was later discovered that a harmful substance had been introduced into my system by persons unknown to me, which led to a very difficult and uncertain time.
“I want to express my gratitude to my family, friends, and the general public—particularly a young lady and a gentleman who, despite daunting challenges, were able to contact my family.
“I’m also incredibly grateful to the Nigeria police and other security agencies. I feel much better now, growing stronger every day and returning to my old self,” he wrote.
