Tiwa Savage has shut down long-standing rumors linking her romantically with fellow Afrobeats star Wizkid.

In a recent interview, the singer addressed earlier comments about dating a popular figure in the music industry, clarifying that while the man she dated preferred to keep their relationship private, he still flirted openly with other women.

Many Nigerians speculated that the mystery man was Wizkid, given past rumors of a romance between the two, but Tiwa made it clear she never dated him.

“I love Wizkid, but we weren’t in a relationship,” she stated, adding that she still holds deep admiration and respect for him.
