Governor Bala Mohammed has dismissed Hajiya Zainab Baban-Takko from her position as Bauchi State Commissioner for Women Affairs and Child Development with immediate effect.
The decision was announced early Monday in a statement by the governor’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Mukhtar Gidado, who said the move was part of a minor reshuffle in the State Executive Council.
“In that respect, the Honourable Commissioner for Women Affairs and Child Development, Hajiya Zainab Baban-Takko, has been relieved of her appointment with immediate effect.
“The governor thanks the Honourable Commissioner for her services to the state and wishes her success in her future endeavours,” the statement read.
