A Magistrate Court in Ikeja, Lagos State, has issued an order restraining Baba Mohbad, Bukky Jesse, Yomi Fabiyi, Larry Omodia, and Adewale Mariam from making public statements or taking actions that could target the late Mohbad’s wife, Omowunmi, and their child, Liam.
The order, obtained by Naija News, also prohibits any form of bullying, threats, or attempts to sway public opinion against them for the next year.
The court’s directive follows ongoing disputes and controversies involving the individuals and aims to protect Wunmi and Liam’s privacy, preventing further harassment or defamation.
The order, dated Wednesday, August 6, 2025, was issued by Chief Magistrate (Admin), Mrs. M. O. Tanimola, at the Ikeja Magisterial District, Ogba Court 2. It stems from Suit No: MCIK/50/FAM/2025, filed by Cynthia Omowunmi Aloba on behalf of herself and her infant son, Liam Aloba, against Joseph Aloba, Larry Omodia, Adewale Mariam, Yomi Fabiyi, and Bukky Jesse.
The court stated that the respondents are to show cause why they should not be required to enter into a recognizance with sureties to ensure good behavior and maintain the peace for the next year.
The certified order reads in part:
“AN ORDER binding the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th Respondents to show cause why they should not be ordered to enter into a recognizance with sureties for their good behavior and keeping the peace for the next one (1) year upon the threat. CERTIFIED TRUE COPY.”
