Comedian and actor Julius Agwu is mourning the passing of his mother, who died following a brief illness.

He shared the news on social media, posting a touching video of a surprise visit to her on her farm. In the clip, Julius sneaks up behind his mother while she’s working, and she joyfully screams upon seeing him. The two share a warm embrace, with Julius proudly saying, “This is my mother.”

Julius expressed that his mother would be greatly missed, writing: “My dearest mother has gone to be with the Lord. Mama Gee, you will be dearly missed. Rest in peace.”

Fans and colleagues have extended condolences, offering prayers for the family’s comfort as they make private burial arrangements.
