Actor Bobby Maris, husband of Nollywood star Uche Ogbodo, has stirred controversy after advising women to undergo cosmetic surgery, including Brazilian Butt Lifts (BBL), if they can afford it
In a video shared on Instagram, Bobby argued that body enhancements help boost self-esteem and could even prevent relationship problems.
“If you know you can afford a BBL, tummy tuck, or liposuction, go and do it, especially after having kids. Because if you don’t, your husband might eventually leave you for a baddie. If you have money, fix your body oo. No fear. You only live once,” he said.
His statement came shortly after his wife revealed she underwent a Lipo 360 procedure. While some social media users praised him for openly supporting her decision, others criticized him for promoting cosmetic surgery and pressuring women to alter their bodies.
