Arsenal secured a vital 1–0 victory over Fulham at Craven Cottage on Saturday to reclaim top spot in the Premier League table.

Leandro Trossard scored the decisive goal, smashing home a close-range volley after a Bukayo Saka corner was flicked on by Gabriel Magalhães. The win moved the Gunners three points ahead of Manchester City and four clear of Liverpool.

Although Arsenal’s display lacked their usual attacking spark, they were defensively solid and collected their fifth clean sheet in eight matches. Fulham had moments of promise through Raúl Jiménez and Harry Wilson but failed to make their chances count.

With captain Martin Ødegaard still sidelined through injury, Mikel Arteta’s side leaned on their structure and composure to grind out the result. Viktor Gyökeres’ goal drought stretched to nine games, but Arsenal’s resilience ensured all three points.

The victory highlighted Arsenal’s growing maturity and ability to win even when not at their best — a quality that could prove decisive in the title race.
