Nigerian rapper Ice Prince has opened up about his weight loss journey, revealing that lifestyle changes and support from friends played a key role in his transformation.

The rapper admitted that unhealthy eating habits had prompted him to make a change, crediting his friends Chopstix and Dami for motivating him to get fit. Chopstix encouraged him to “lose the belly,” and the two would walk Ice Prince’s estate daily, having deep and meaningful conversations along the way.

Ahead of his October 30 birthday, Ice Prince announced he will be releasing new music, celebrating his “new body.” He also emphasized the importance of natural wellness, stating, “health is wealth,” and expressing gratitude for his transformation and the friends who supported him.

Sharing his journey on social media, Ice Prince wrote:

“God so good inna me life… A short story!! I was literally about to explode… no sickness (Bless God), just bad habits and choices. Then Chopstix and Dami said, ‘let’s lose the belly, Ice,’ and that really sparked something in my brain that got me activated. From that moment, my brother Chopstix started coming to my house every day after dinner, and we’d walk my estate for an hour. Uno chopper gist na normally for PhD students lol, but our talks during those walks are priceless to me, as every other thing we’ve talked about since we were kids!! Buss a shot fa ma true fren 🥂
