Singer Katy Perry, 41, and former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, 53, have officially confirmed their relationship, stepping out together for a birthday date in Paris on Saturday.
The couple was seen holding hands and smiling after attending a cabaret show at Crazy Horse Paris, with Perry in a striking red dress and Trudeau in a classic black suit, TMZ reported.
Footage from the outing showed a fan presenting Perry with a rose and wishing her a happy birthday as they left the venue and got into a black car.
The pair first sparked dating rumors in July when they were spotted strolling together in Montreal, Canada, before sharing a stylish lunch.
Trudeau resigned as Canada’s Prime Minister in January, more than a year after separating from his wife of 18 years, Sophie Grégoire-Trudeau, with whom he has three children.
“He is sowing his oats all over again. He’s free from the ties of office and his marriage,” a Canadian society source told Page Six.
Perry, meanwhile, ended her engagement to actor Orlando Bloom, 48, before beginning to spend time with Trudeau.
