Priscilla Ojo has reacted to reports claiming that her husband, Tanzanian singer Juma Jux, lost his multi-million-dollar store during violent protests that erupted after the country’s tense presidential election.
A viral post on X (formerly Twitter) alleged that Juma Jux’s store, valued at over $780 million, had been “set ablaze and completely destroyed by protesters” amid post-election chaos in several parts of Tanzania.
However, Priscilla took to Snapchat to set the record straight. In her post, she wrote:
“LOOTED✅
BURNT❎”
Her reaction confirmed that the store was indeed looted during the unrest but dismissed reports that it had been burnt down.
Juma Jux also addressed the incident briefly on his Instagram story, writing: “God is in control.”
The clarification comes after hours of social media speculation, with fans expressing sympathy and concern over the alleged destruction of the singer’s luxury fashion business.
