TikToker Shamsodium, real name Saheed Jamiu Osama, has been released on bail after spending three months in Ikoyi Prison over cyberbullying and defamation allegations against Omowunmi, widow of late singer Mohbad.
He was arrested for repeatedly appearing in public with placards accusing Omowunmi of wrongdoing, including messages such as “Wunmi k!lled Mohbad.”
Following his release, Shamsodium publicly praised his lawyer, Bolaji Oluwatosin, calling him “the best lawyer ever” for securing his freedom.
His bail conditions reportedly included a ₦3 million bond, a surety of equal value, and submission of identification documents and proof of residence.
The release concludes a high-profile legal ordeal that had captured public attention due to the controversial nature of his actions.
