Actress Shaffy Bello is celebrating her nomination for Best Actress in a Leading Role at the 2025 Africa Movie Academy Awards (AMAA).

Taking to Instagram, the veteran actress expressed her gratitude for the recognition, describing it as “the evidence of God’s grace.”

She wrote: “The Evidence of Gods Grace. Thank you @amaawards_ for the recognition. I do not take it for granted. I am deeply grateful. Congratulations to ALL the nominees. We’ve already WON 🏆 See you on the 9th.”

Shaffy Bello earned the nomination for her performance in The Masked King and will compete alongside other leading actresses when the 21st AMAA ceremony takes place in Lagos on November 9.
