BBNaija star Queen Mercy had a terrifying start to her day when part of her sitting room POP ceiling collapsed early this morning.
Mercy revealed she had been working late into the night, picking up a friend for a Guinness World Record project and shooting content due to limited time. She returned home around 4 a.m. to find her younger sister and nanny still awake and sewing.
The two narrowly avoided injury when the ceiling fell. “They both literally had to run for their lives,” Mercy shared, expressing relief that everyone in her home was safe. Her first concern was for her friend and nanny, who were upstairs at the time. After checking with her mother and confirming they were unharmed, she felt a wave of relief. This marks the second near-miss at her home in recent weeks, following a similar incident in her garage.
Despite the morning’s chaos, Mercy is focused on balancing her family’s safety with preparations for her friend’s Guinness World Record project, which begins this Friday. “My brain is literally everywhere,” she wrote, reflecting on the stressful start to her day.
