Pastor Chris Okafor has tendered a public apology to Nollywood actress Doris Ogala following the controversy surrounding their fallout.

The apology came after Ogala accused the cleric of breaching a promise and allegedly leaking inappropriate photos involving his daughters. In a video that has since gone viral, Pastor Okafor admitted that he made mistakes but maintained that the allegations against him were untrue.

While addressing the situation, he apologized to those affected by the saga, including the actress. “I'm sorry to everyone I've offended, to Doris Ogala, I also say sorry and I apologize.”

Reacting to his statement, Doris Ogala said she had forgiven him but expressed displeasure over his insistence that her claims were false. Taking to Instagram, she wrote, “CHRIS OKAFOR I FORGIVE YOU BUT THERES A PROBLEM. WHERE YOU SAID EVERYTHING IS A LIE. I HAVE A PROBLEM WITH THAT BECAUSE I DONT LIE.”
