Toyin Abraham’s directorial debut, Oversabi Aunty, has achieved a major box office success, earning over N382 million in just 11 days and becoming Nollywood’s second-highest-grossing film of the weekend in 2025.
The movie follows a well-meaning but overly involved aunty whose attempts to solve everyone’s problems lead to hilarious misunderstandings and touching life lessons.
Following an advanced screening on December 18 that created significant buzz, the film was released nationwide on December 19.
