Nollywood actress Sarah Martins has raised alarm after apprehending a staff member she hired barely a week earlier for allegedly stealing ₦3 million from her business account.
The actress revealed that the suspect reportedly gained access to her Zenith Bank account through her phone and transferred the money to an accomplice. To conceal the act, the worker allegedly deleted the debit alerts linked to the transactions.
Sarah took to Instagram to share her shock and pain over the incident, expressing disbelief that someone she trusted could betray her so quickly.
“While I was crying over the ₦2m he moved from my account to his accomplice’s account, he went ahead to move an extra ₦1m and even made sure to delete the debit notification,” she wrote.
