Even with the APGA ticket in Anambra State, you couldn't win a senatorial election. Now you want to become governor.Please, consider contesting for position of President-General of your town union.------- Governor Soludo

The Governor of Anambra state has thrown shades on a particular Governorship Aspirant in the forthcoming Anambra Election. Although he didn't mention the name of the aspirant he was referring to, but many people are pointing at the APC candidate. According to Soludo;

" There was someone APGA brought in 2019 to contest for senate. When the campaign started we thought we had a credible person but after the election I was very shocked…that was the worst election APGA had contested in since 2002. That person failed woefully. It was only in my ward(isuofia) that he won, he failed in the other 19 wards. After making APGA come 4th in a senetorial election, the same person has now come out to contest for Governor, I think his malaria has transferred to typhoid"

The Governor further mentioned that the person is supposed to contest for Councillor or state house of Assembly or even PG of his town, because the person won only 12 out of 20 wards in the person's own local Government

He finally concluded by saying that person is also going to fail if he contest for state house of Assembly and that the most suitable position for him to contest is the President general (PG) of his town.
