Mercy Johnson has announced her decision to withdraw the defamation case against TikTok personality Eedie Bliss, while sending a clear message for people to stay away from her family.
In a video shared online, the actress expressed appreciation to those who stepped in to mediate, noting that their intervention played a key role in her decision.
"I'm letting this go, dropping the case, out of respect for people my husband and I love and respect," she said.
Mercy explained that the legal battle had begun to interfere with her personal plans and questioned why private family matters were being dragged into the public space.
She also alleged that some bloggers are paid to spread false narratives, stating, "You don't know that these bloggers are paid by actors."
Concluding her message, Mercy insisted that false stories and propaganda cannot define her, stressing that her family should be left out of online attacks.
