Cross River Indigenes Rally For Tinubu
Thousands of Cross River indigenes living in Abuja staged a one million man march in support of the re election of President Bola Tinubu, Governor Bassey Otu and Senator Jarigbe Agom Jarigbe ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The rally, held in the Federal Capital Territory, drew participants from different parts of the city who said the march was organised to mobilise support for the three political leaders.
Convener of the march Gabriel Bravo, alongside Don Enamhe and Francisca Ogar, said the leaders had performed well in office and deserved another term.
They pointed to projects such as the Lagos Calabar coastal highway and the proposed Bakassi Deep Sea Port as part of the reasons they believe the president should be re elected.
The organisers also praised Senator Jarigbe for what they described as strong grassroots representation across communities in Cross River North.
Participants at the rally said many of them had registered to vote in their hometowns and were ready to travel back to the state during the elections to support the candidates.
