Dangote Slashes Petrol And Diesel Prices
Dangote Petroleum Refinery and Petrochemicals has lowered the prices of petrol and diesel, offering some relief to fuel marketers and consumers.
The adjustment was announced through a new pricing template released by the refinery on March 10, 2026.
Under the revised structure, the gantry price of Premium Motor Spirit has dropped by N100 per litre, moving from N1,175 to N1,075.
The refinery also fixed the coastal supply price of petrol at N1,050 per litre to account for additional distribution costs through maritime routes.
The company also reduced the price of Automotive Gas Oil, commonly known as diesel. The new gantry price now stands at N1,430 per litre, down from the previous N1,620, reflecting a N190 reduction.
The refinery clarified that the listed prices do not include regulatory charges imposed by the Nigerian Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority.
The latest adjustment comes shortly after the refinery had raised its petrol price to N1,175 per litre earlier in the week.
