Ekiti PDP Hopeful Makes Power Pledge
In Ekiti State, the Peoples Democratic Party governorship candidate, Wole Oluyede, has promised to deliver stable and reliable electricity if elected in the June 20, 2026 poll.
Oluyede said improving power supply would be a top priority of his administration, noting that steady electricity is key to economic growth and better living conditions for residents.
He explained that his plan would focus on strengthening infrastructure and exploring sustainable solutions to reduce outages across the state.
The move, he said, would support businesses and attract investment.
The election is expected to draw strong competition, with candidates outlining key policies to win voter support.
Power supply remains a major concern among residents ahead of the vote.
