A fire has broken out at the United Bank for Africa (UBA) branch on Lagos Island.
The cause of the blaze remains unclear.
Videos of the incident have been circulating on social media, with eyewitnesses taking to X to share updates.
One user tweeted: “Pls call your friends who work at the UBA office near Perkins Street Lagos and help alert the Fire Services. A portion of the building is currently on fire, and there’s pandemonium and traffic everywhere. Prayers up that no life is lost.”
