Kwankwasiyya Rejects Exit Remours
The Kwankwasiyya movement has dismissed reports suggesting that its leader, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, threatened to leave the Nigeria Democratic Congress.
The group described the claims as false and misleading amid growing political discussions ahead of future elections.
The reaction followed reports alleging that Kwankwaso was considering quitting the party over disagreements concerning candidate selection and internal arrangements.
Supporters of the former Kano State governor insisted that no such threat was made.
According to the movement, efforts are being made to strengthen unity within the party rather than create division.
It maintained that Kwankwaso remains committed to the party’s objectives and ongoing political engagements.
The group urged members and the public to disregard unverified reports capable of creating unnecessary tension.
It added that attention should remain on building a stronger political platform and advancing the party’s long-term goals.
