Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah has made history as the first player to win the Professional Footballers’ Association (PFA) Men’s Player of the Year award three times.
Salah, who previously claimed the honor in 2018 and 2022, beat a six-man shortlist featuring Liverpool teammate Alexis Mac Allister, Manchester United’s Bruno Fernandes, Newcastle’s Alexander Isak, Chelsea’s Cole Palmer, and Arsenal’s Declan Rice.
The 33-year-old achieved the feat after playing a pivotal role in Liverpool’s Premier League title triumph last season, finishing as the league’s top scorer with 29 goals and providing 18 assists. His stellar campaign also earned him the Premier League Player of the Season award and the Football Writers’ Association Footballer of the Year title.
Elsewhere, Aston Villa midfielder Morgan Rogers was named Young Player of the Year, while former England manager Gareth Southgate received the 2025 PFA Merit Award.
